Alignment Services
We offer alignment services on pumps, fans, gearboxes, and more. Mis-alignments can have a domino effect on motors, pumps, couplings, and bearings. When installing new equipment or after repairs you can depend on us to verify a proper alignment to prevent further damage to your equipment.
We will soon offer laser alignments for the jobs that require even more precise tolerances than what manufactures call for.
Smardt Warranty Repairs and Maintenance
A/C Services and Mechanical is factory trained on Smardt chillers. This factory training allows us to provide warranty service through Smardt Inc. If you have a warranty claim, you can request us through Smardt. If you have a maintenance agreement with us, we will notify the factory of warranty claims found during service and take care of the repairs.
Danfoss Turbocor Compressors
Many customers may wish to explore their provider options outside of the current factory provided service representatives, and we offer those same services. We have the software and special cables needed to do diagnostic work on turbocore compressors and plenty of experience with all brands that incorporate them into their systems. Some brands that may include turbocore compressors are Smardt, Articcool, Mammoth, Mcquay, and Stack chillers. If you are still unsure, you can give us a call and we will check into it for you.
Preventive Maintenance
A/C Services and Mechanical offers preventive maintenance service for all units and equipment. We even service equipment not typical to most companies such as air dryers, air compressors, exhaust fans, and specialty equipment.

Cooling Tower Cleaning
Cooling tower cleaning is a service that does not typically get done correctly. While this is typically a service that gets subbed out to keep costs down, we do all of the work ourselves at A/C Services and Mechanical, and we do it the correct way. We use Goodway specialty equipment to spray chemicals onto the film and then let it sit for 30-60 minutes depending on the scale build up. We then pressure wash the film to remove the broken down scale. While this process is being done, our technicians also inspect the water box and strainers at the top of cooling towers to remove any restrictions or loose scale. After this point, technicians then use a Goodway cooling tower vacuum to remove sediment from the bottom of the sump. Technicians will also check the sump strainer and clean it if necessary before moving onto electrical inspections on the heaters and fan components. We also lubricate motor bearings and gear boxes/bearings for the fans. We inspect all belts, pulleys, fan blades, and couplings depending on the orientation of your cooling tower.
Equipment Installations
Equipment installs can be a stressful job for customers. If not done properly, there can be longer down times than estimated. Majority of companies never send a qualified technician to properly assess the job which can lead to unforeseen issues that may have been missed by the salesman. Prior to quoting a job, we always send a qualified technician to inspect the job which leads to the most accurate price and best estimated time of completion. We can install, remove, or retrofit any equipment you need.
Boiler Maintenance
Boiler maintenance is sometimes a forgotten but important job which can lead to failed inspections by the state and can lead to very hazardous situations. Its important to remember that boiler is a failure away from becoming a pressure bomb. Most commercial sites have low pressure hot water boilers but if your flow switch fails in the wrong position or a pressure relief valve doesn't open when it could lead to damage to equipment or property. Most manufacturers also recommend that burners get cleaned every year as well as checking all of the safety devices on the boiler.
